I don’t need the sun to shine 
to brighten up my day, nor
stars upon the midnight sky
to lure sweet dreams my way.
All I need and all I want
is everything you are,
perfection in a mortal shell
to love from near or far.
And love I shall until the
day, the ocean never
meets the shore, then on
your heart I’ll promise you
my love forever more.
