Oh Valentine, Oh valentine

Oh how I wish that you’ll be mine

I’ve been dreaming of a valentine just like you

and I hope you’ll say you want me too. 

I want sweet whispers of poetry

Softly in my ear, so close to me

Don’t bother with a card of other people’s words

Because those verses I’ve already heard

Don’t bother with roses that smell so pretty

I’d rather have something sweet and witty

For sweet words from you, yes, anything I would do

Cause I only have ears for you
