Gracious Words.

For you, the crescent smile of
golden sands, beckoned me
with absent arms, to rest upon,
within and by, below the clouds
of blanket sky. Pulling me closer
on unseen lines, to caress your
contoured curves divine, to feel
my weight upon your own, to know
no more you’ll be alone.
And without pause nor thoughts
I came, through thunder storms
and pouring rain, in surging waves
of foaming haste, to lay upon your
resting place.
I love you without reasoning,
of why or when or how, but do
Some things are simply meant to be,
as I am meant for you.

.

This is one of my older poems but I want you all to have a play.

Use this poem as your canvas for a piece of Blackout Poetry. Score through what you don’t want and highlight the words you want to keep. It’s really that simple.

Re-blog with your changes.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
