Tears of sadness resonate through
the emptiness of heartbreak hell.
Rigour ridden roses, fractured, carpet
underfoot in shards of crisp, sharpened
splinters, permeating soles of feet, to 
travel the vast vascular highway; to
attach, to attack, to slice and scar an
already war torn heart.
Silent shadows shape shift in dank, 
darkened corners, taunting, teasing and
testing resolve, replaying memories of
love now lost; languishing in the limbo
of self loathing and rejection, running
but remaining still, stuck in the solitary
isolation of insidious emotion, internal
implosions release rapturous rain from
bloodshot elliptical orbs.
The journey lingers long but pain and
perseverance shall prevail, for therein
lies the conception of a stronger you.
