Memories; my heart and
I expose my soul to the
Sunshine you once
Shed upon, and in.

Yesterday does come and go, but
Only you can make tomorrow the
Unending happiness we both deserve.

more than thoughts of you;
frustration burns, creativity
crumbles but the imagery
is breathtaking.”

Lay back and close your eyes my love
rest your head upon my chest
listen to the rhythmic whispers
of the heart, your own has blessed.
Feel my fingers scribe a lullaby,
in feathers touch on satin skin
where every word on silken shivers
travel to your heart within.
As to sleep, your body fades
to rest within the dreams you seek
I’ll wrap my arms around your waist
then place a kiss upon your cheek.
And on your ears, three words I’d share
in whispers pure and true
until our eyes meet once again

Your absence hits me
like an earthquake, shaking my
very existence
Settling dust clouds
darken my mood, filling pores
with grains of sadness
The world that I know
falls from below me, but I
know you can’t catch me
Spiralling, head first
into deep depression, thoughts
of life before you
My waking dreams,
the sub conscious illusion
that I fear the most
So, please forgive me
if I love you too much, for
that is all I know

seconds become days, minutes become years
becomes fear, becomes tears as
insecurities eat me, I love you completely
but these feelings of loneliness beat me
I try to stay strong but it’s with you
I belong, it feels wrong when at home all alone
and my mind starts to roam to the life
I’d suppressed before love I
confessed, I’m a mess without you
and this hurts but it’s true, I just hope
and I pray you don’t miss me this way.

pulling heart strings tight
but still I feel you deep inside
morning, noon and night.

I long to feel your hand in mine
the warmth within your kiss
to trace my fingers down your spine
It’s all these things I miss.

Sinking down upon my knees
I shed a single saddened tear
to fall within the ebbing seas
a wish that you were here.

With heavy heart, I close my eyes
three simple words I say
I send “I love you” to the skies
and hope they find their way.

Now every time the skies relent
and rain falls down from heavens eyes
please know these drops are kisses sent
from your lover on the other side.”
